The Jazz Half partners with Cincy Entertainment

The Jazz Half is proud to announce its partnership with Cincy Entertainment. CE went on the air 17 months ago, highlighting and covering greater Cincinnati talent. In that short time, Cincy Entertainment became the Queen City's only locally produced entertainment variety TV series, showcasing comedy shows, music events, and many other forms of entertainment throughout Cincinnati. CE is locally broadcast on 3 stations; covering 32 cities and 600,000 homes. CE is also syndicated worldwide via their website (www.cincy-entertainment.com), iTunes, AOL Video, YouTube, Blip TV, and Vimeo, among others. "We are very excited about our new partnership with The Jazz Half," CE Creator Michael Baker says, "as Cincinnati has an incredible wealth of not only local jazz but artists from all over the country that grace our stages".

The Jazz Half and Cincy Entertainment will work together to showcase jazz events around the city. In partnership with The Jazz Half, this will result in a new Jazz entertainment segment that will be available to the community on the CE show. Aubrey Johnson, The Jazz Half founder, couldn't be more pleased. "This is one of many extraordinary efforts to increase the visibility of jazz music throughout our city" he says. "Our many talented musicians deserve this, and so does the community".

Martini and Jazz

Jazz Pianist Rob Allgeyer is one of the busiest cats around. One might say that Rob Allgeyer is ALL OVER the city (get it?). From performances with the Ron Jones Quartet, to leading his own trio, Rob can be seen in venues like the Blue Wisp, Ironhorse Inn, Washington Platform, Eddie Merlot’s – just to name a few.

Well, add another venue to the list; and not just any venue, but the newest hot spot in Cincinnati.

Rob Allgeyer and his trio are playing at Bartini’s every Tuesday from 5-9pm. Bartini’s is the Queen City’s Premiere martini bar that opened just two weeks ago. Stop into Bartini’s on a Tuesday evening for a Key Lime Pie martini, or a Smores, or a Raspberry Mojito, or any other martini of your liking – and have a listen to the Rob Allgeyer Trio, with Rob on Piano, Eric Sayer on Bass, and Jim Leslie on Drums.

Bartini’s is located at 580 Walnut Street, downtown. For more information, visit http://www.bartiniscincinnati.com/.

Quality jazz at a premiere venue – when you order your first drink, tell ‘em The Jazz Half sent you!
